How wonderful our government is to lose such vital information. Why on earth send the details of every single person under the age of 16 by courier. I am so glad I dont have any kids under 16. All the info is on those discs about them and their families including bank account details. I would close my bank down and get a new account for starters. I do feel for everyone affected.

Oh thanks DM, I didn't really know they could do much about it tbh. I will tell them.
No I haven't heard anything else about it either, apart from they reckon it's only lost within the government property or some crap like that.

don`t believe that.... Its gone,,,the reason i say this....no-one has said its been found...so someone has a disc, with every mother and her childerns details on it.....which means in the wrong hands ,,,its worth millions,, as they could get accounts in peoples names, including, cars, houses , boats, ect...So, change passwords if they contain your kids names,,,give them a second name,,,and change bank details buy moving from one account to another......by doing that,,,80% is against the details they have against mums and childern

I know it has not been found. I wasn't aware it was actually this serious, tbh. I have told my affected family members about what you said anyway. Yeah I heard about that too, more data lost... Well done. The British government strikes again.

The government have tried to play it down but with all those details lost imagine the damage that can be done.

Aye, I know, not good.
And just think, these people are running our country. If I was normal I'd be very scared and worried by now.

I've heard alot of stories about it being a set up.
Apparently when Conservative came out of power a few years ago, occurances such as 'affairs' and 'secrets' about certain politicians all came out at once, as if they were set up. I was told today. I don't know all the in's and out's of all this political crap, but I know enough to know that losing such data is frightening when these people are running our country. It's pathetic.

We could try bribery (sp).
Seen as I was on my own for the vast majority of it, I'm pretty sure I can safely say there were no hidden cameras! Thank God.

Sounds like history is repeating itself. This has happened before, when a new leader or government has come into action. The theory is that its a set up against the new leader/government/whatever... makes sense. Would explain the sudden loss of millions of important data.

Wow..that is quite a theory. I wouldn't discount is as they are capable of anything.
