I went to Bodlewydan Castle last year, whilst on holiday and it was amazing. It is such an amazing and beautiful builfing anyway, but to be there, where MH have been, made it even more awesome!
I did expereince some 'paranormal activity' while I was there too.
Firsty, I walked into a room where the pool table was, noticed the light started swinging as I walked in, not just slightly but quite a bit. However, stupid me thought nothing of it and walked out the room! Later on, went back in realised that staff were stood there talking about it "I walked in here before and the light was swinging! i had to stop it, we've never had that before" I was gutted! lol
Secondly, there were really obvious cold spots, in the same room, right above the raditor, which was on. There was no draft because you could feel with your hands where they began and stopped. Which was odd.
Then I was talking to one of the guards there and he told me about how he saw a ghost one night, a pair of legs in fact, which was interesting.
Then finally, my brother and I were upstairs and I asked him if he felt anything up there and he said he felt uncomfortable and he had a headache. I later read in the book that many people have complained about feeling the same as my brother did, in that particular room.
I realy wanted to go in the celler, as I saw the episode on MH but we weren't allowed. And we weren't allowed to video inside either.
But it was amazing and I want go again soon! What do you think?

Sounds like you had a good night. The light swinging....opening the door maybe caused a draught which set it off. Vibration can also do that. The hot and cold spots.I have spots in my home that are always cold no matter how many radiators I have on.I dont know why. I never trust the word of any owner of any supposed haunted location. They have their earnings to think about. Cynical is me. The headaches..I cant remember exactly what its called or what causes it but Ciaran and Matthew have often spoken about certain (infrasound I think) that can cause headaches ect. Not sure if I believe that or not though.

The light swinging, the door was already open, it was warm inside the building, and there were no drafts, only the cold spots that appeared. The light right next to it was perfectly still... Yeah well my friend said the same thing about people and their haunted locations, which I kinda agree with tbh. The headache thing, yeah fair enough, but I was fine, I didn't have a headache at all, but my brother did. I felt slight uncomfortable after a while but no headache. So I'm sure if it was anything to do with infrasound or whatever, then why didn't we both get a headache? Either way, it was awesome.

Very interesting about the swinging light then.
I do believe that owners just might help things along when people are visiting.
Does seem odd that only your brother got a headache.
Shame they would not let you film as that is the best part of it.

Not sure if its paranormal, but its strange. I know, I was going to try and push my luck and film the room where the light was swinging, but I decided not to in the end. I agree, they make alot of money out of the whole thing, especially with tourists.

True..dont get caught. I have taken a few films where I should'nt before and luckily got away with it. We were at bodmin gaol and although we could film there were barriers up to stop us going into certain rooms...did not stop me. Was only after we realised they have cameras....

I can just imagine that! Well I'd probably have done the same. I wish I did just film now, but nevermind. I saw it.

I want to go back to Bodlewydan, I think I'll take some others with me next time and get them to film for me, so they will get thrown out... and I won't! Good plan or what!?
