COULD this picture of a strange silver shape in the sky prove that the truth is out there - in Eccles?
Is it, as UFO experts are suggesting, evidence that aliens are making a regular Saturn to Salford round trip?
One of the men who spotted the UFO, is in no doubt as to what he saw above him in the Eccles sky.
Philip Sotomski, 31, said:“I would like to point out that I am a big sceptic as far as UFO sightings are concerned but in some ways this only makes me more determined to show the photos to people and to try and get some kind of answer about them.”
The spooky shape was spotted flying by Mr Sotomski and four of his colleagues at 10am on July 10 this year.
Above them, on Half Edge Lane, Eccles, they saw the object travel across the sky at great speed, followed five minutes later by another extra-terrestrial entity.
Mr Sotomski is adamant about what he saw and is willing to take a lie detector test.
He added: “Myself and my colleagues know what we saw whilst not knowing what the object was.
“We are all professional people and quite frankly have better things to do with our time than to make wacky e-mails or photos. We all feel that what we saw was totally unexplainable.”
Chris Parr, from the British UFO Hunters, said:“I have applied the latest photographic and computer technologies available and I can confirm that the mysterious object is a solid mass with curvatures and sharp right angles.
“I have evaluated and solved many hundreds of UFO cases and the Eccles UFO evidence has no immediate solution.
“This case remains unsolved and experience tells me that it will remain a mystery for a very long time.”
