I am an idiot on the computer. (So if anyone has any ideas on how to change this, please speak to me like a 2 yr old.) Thanks.
Any time I restart my computer or turn on my computer I have all kinds of programs that start up automatically. I really have no clue what alot of these programs are. (Probably junk and spyware and stuff) But I always do the CNTRL + Alt and delete and go into the task manager bar and end process on everything that is under owner. (Other then explorer, taskmanager, and I think one other thing.) At that point then I get into the programs that I actually "want" to get into. But this takes forever and I hate shutting down my computer at all because I have to go through this every time. What do you guys suggest?
BTW. I am running Windows XP

I am running on XP as well and am finding it difficult to work the same things out.
Hopefully someone will be able to tell us how to do it.

click on Start...then Run and type.......( msconfig ) now goto the Startup tap.... that shows you all the programs running at startup... now be carefull , make sure you know what progams are what before you stop then from running,,,, to stop a progam from running just Untic the boxes then click on Apply then Ok.........it will restart,, when it boots up a screen pops up....tick the screen then it won`t pop up again...... all done....
