My ex has just come back from a trip to tescos. He walked and on the way back came across a group of kids no older than 10.
They were taunting anyone who happened to walk past calling them all sorts of very crude names.
My ex just ignored them although what he really wanted to do was clip them round the ear.
Now..what are these children doing out anyway? Where are their parents?
Should we have a curfew where all children under a certain age must be indoors at a certain time unless accompanied by a parent.?
Would it work.? If not then what is the solution.?

Its a damn disgrace that kids are allowed to do whatever they please now.
I Never let mine out unless they had somewhere specific to go.They were never allowed to just roam the streets.

So true...they would be up in arms if anything happened to them yet it would never occur to them that they should have been looking after them.

Kids are kids, its what they are gonna do if they are allowed. Its the parents that have to control their own kids, its up to them. I think.
But what can ya do...

I never shouted abuse at any adult when I was a kid.I would have got a good clip around the ear if I had.
I agree that the parents need to take responsibilty for their offspring but they are not so the law needs to step in now.
Send the lovely little blighters off to boot camp,? The older ones to the army for a while.?

They can all go to boot camp until their adults or old enough to be normal, as far as I'm concerned.
But the law can only do so much, they can say "oh be in at this time", "don't do this" and all that, but will they do it? And with so much else going on in the world, will it be enforced properly.
I just think, that the parents need telling to buck up first of all.

The problem is the damn PC brigade and their...oooh...we must not smack a child..we must reward the little b******* for behaving in school with free driving lessons. (true) but the good kids who do behave get nothing. Oh it makes me so damn mad. I dont give a flying fig for the law.If a little bugger tries anything with me I will give them what for.

love it. I hate it when they reward the litte s**** for being good like onece in a blue moon and its a big deal, but then totally ignore the ones that are good 24/7. I agree with that.

Maybe they thought that rewarding good behaviour would work but they clearly have no idea how the little b's think. They play the system and are laughing their socks off at the twats who give them all the treats.
My kids have had to work damn hard against all the odds to go to uni ect and left owing the greedy government thousands of pounds. No treats for them but then..they are good kids.

Cam you said tw*t... I agree with that, but we can rant about it all we like and it won't change a thing. I had the same thing at school, you just have to get on with your own thing and think "Its me who's gonna be where I want to be in life while they're sat at home still being wasters" and I wasn't wrong. Yeah they got all the attention, all the rewards at school, but in the long term they ended up being nothing and I was happy with what I had acheived. And I think that most of them, will end up like that. you said tw*t...
