that is very bizarre... (and freeeaky!) I would imagine the sceptics would just respond with how can you prove no-one had any prior knowledge etc... But I can understand how you were all curious about it and believe there's more to it.

Well. I wouldn't class myself as any kind of 'professional' Lol! But I'd have to say you're quite right DM, you can't 'prove' any of it to anyone that this was not 'meant' for.............. that's half the fun of it!!! I have a million questions, and forgive me if I've missed something in reading this, but some I would ask are how was the site chosen? Were you all in agreement about time, place etc for taking part in this? Are you 'close'? ie do you discuss/take part in this nature of activity on a regular basis?.............. sorry to be nosey! just my way I believe very firmly that 'sensitivity' lies within us all as a natural sense and experiences like this merely highlight our own abilities to us at a personal level. What one subsequently chooses to do with that experience is a matter of personal choice. Generally speaking (and in my opinion) the danger of using these boards lies only in the fact that by using 'tools' (ie. the glass etc) a barrier is created between the 'other' world and our own natural senses, which will protect us - the energy has therefore got that much closer and may have concentrated more energy before our natural radar detects it and it is therefore potentially more difficult to deal with, if it is of a dark intent. Conversely, much good and accurate information has been reported where the energy is from the lighter side of nature, as in DM's case. Hope that makes sense and is of some small help

Lol! Would be a bit strange if you weren't! Thank you for answering. It's often helpful to bear in mind that it is easier to get someone's attention by shouting 'BOO!' than by whispering something gentle. When the other side of life is trying hard to get something across to folk who are not being particularly receptive, the result can often seem frightening. In cases like this, you had made yourselves 'available' but the other side may still have been using a 'sledgehammer to crack a nut' approach! (Folk tend to assume that 'spirits' know what they are doing, just because they have passed over. But they have to learn how to communicate with us too.) This is why the board, table etc often give results beyond the expectations of the participants - the use of the 'tool' allows the unseen energy to build itself up to quite a high level before the participants 'feel' it and try to shut down. This is what CAN make the use of these tools dangerous. In my opinion it is better to gain a good level of self-knowledge through meditation, guide contact etc before using these things, which can then make useful tools - though of course by that stage, one wouldn't need them! It is far safer and more satisfying to use one's own natural senses for this kind of contact. However, this will only provide 'proof' to the individual. It would seem to me that this is really what your experience was all about and I look forward to seeing what happens next.... Sorry for waffling! bset wishes misty

PS. reading over my last post, I don't mean to give the impression that the experience 'scared' you - I don't think it did, at the time. It's the 'thinking about it afterwards' and the implications that are bothering you now perhaps. Just trying to help
